DIAGNOSTIC FEATURES: Narrow (1-2 mm) lobes; pseudocyphellae; ridged upper surface; compare with P. subrudecta which has broad lobes and upper surface not ridged and pitted.

ECOLOGY: Found in Texas and adjacent states; rare in Ohio with one recent record from Adams County, near Buzzardroost Rock.
