Platismatia tuckermanii
DIAGNOSTIC FEATURES: Marginal pycnidia; strongly wrinkled and pitted; patterned surface; undersurface very pale to white; compare with Tuckermannopsis ciliaris and T. americana which are mildly wrinkled or smooth surfaced, undersurface brownish.
ECOLOGY: General distribution is boreal and Appalachian; recorded from eleven Ohio counties; on conifers or hardwoods.
