Bumpy rim-lichen, Lecanora hybocarpa, is described by Brodo et. al in Lichens of North America (2001, Yale University Press) as occurring ”On bark of hardwoods, rarely on conifers, in well-lit woodlands or on isolated trees. COMMENTS: This is the most common of the L. subfusca group in the east.”
