How to recognize Eurhynchiastrum pulchellum: This moss is a smooth-celled carpet moss that is loosely pinnately branched. A member of the Brachytheciaceae, the leaves have a pronounced single costa. The hallmatk of the genus is the apical cells that are short–only a bit longer than wide.
Where to find Eurhynchiastrum pulchellum: This moss is found on the ground in wooded areas.
